Our Children’s Projects

Located in the heart of Tel Aviv, our day care centre is one of the city’s most successful. Named for World WIZO’s longest serving president, the centre cares for more than 100 children, aged from six months to four years.

The multipurpose day care centre, open from 7 am to 7 pm, aims to create a high-quality and targeted system of support that focuses on the needs of at-risk children and their parents.

The Ministry of Welfare and local government authorities work in close cooperation with WIZO staff to ensure the needs of the children are met effectively.

If required, caregivers and allied professionals are on hand to help the parents develop the range of skills they need to care for their children in their homes.

With WIZO Australia’s support, renovations at the centre have provided safe, state-of-the-art playgrounds, complete with art-inspired fencing and sun protection. Modern interiors and a new kitchen help create a warm and well-supported learning environment.
