WIZO is recognised by the UN as an NGO (Non-Government Organisation) with consultative status in UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) and ECOSOC (The United Nations Economic and Social Council). Our ability to continue advocating for Israel is dependent on membership; 250,000 paid up members worldwide are needed to retain this unique status
