JIFF Movie Screening of iMordecai

Returning to the big screen, JIFF celebrates extraordinary Jewish-themed films from Israel and the Jewish diaspora. WIZO Australia & WIZO Victoria in partnership with JIFF invite you to a screening of iMordecai.

A heart-warming and life-affirming film based on a true story, iMORDECAI stars Academy Award-nominated and two-time Emmy-winning actor Judd Hirsch as Mordecai Samels, a Polish Holocaust survivor who now lives in Miami. When Mordecai's ancient flip phone breaks, he purchases a new iPhone and starts to take lessons, opening him up to novel experiences and adventures which make him feel like a kid again. An uplifting comedy, celebration of long-term relationships, and a love letter to the city of Miami, iMordecai urges us all to live the one life we have to the fullest. We hope to see you there!
