The DCC was inaugurated in 1997 and is located in the Lev Hapark neighbourhood populated mainly by young middle-class couples. Neighbouring is Kiryat Sharet a low-income community and the welfare cases enrolled at the DCC come from this neighborhood. The DCC caters to the needs of children from different socio-economic classes enabling social integration.

Programs in the Daycare Centre support the child’s development while encouraging curiosity, experiential learning, and self expression in a supportive and warm environment.
The Daycare Centre offers a program that includes play, creativity, educational games, and activities designed to promote sensory and motor development. The children participate in a variety of enrichment activities such as a Music and Movement Class, Developmental Gymnastics, Children’s Theatre performances, Animal Petting Program.
There are 3 newly renovated playground in this Day Care Centre, with rubberized flooring , sun awnings and age appropriate equipment. There is a new, enlarged kitchen serving both milk and meat meals.
